Artwork for Fine Arts Night 2011

Boone Bears interested in displaying artwork on Fine Arts Night in May should start thinking about what you want to create. (This is not a requirement)

Make sure that your work is neat, your own, and complete. (no spiral notebook paper)
If you need paper, feel free to come by the art room to get some.

Yearbook Cover Art Contest

The yearbook committee is looking for student art for the cover of this year's memory book. All art should be on an 8 1/2 by 11'' sheet of paper. A white background is preferred. Each piece of cover art should include the name of our school, Boone, or Boone Elementary is okay. You must also include the school year 2010-2011.

Entry deadline is next Friday, February 11th!

Youth Art Month T-shirts

2011 Youth Art Month T-shirts can be ordered this week at Boone! This year's design, Art Is Electric, is so much fun. Tote bags and aprons are also available. Designs are printed on black. Make sure to get your order in by Friday. Order forms went home in Thursday folders last week, but order forms can be found in the Boone office if forms are still needed.

Art Guitars!!

5th Graders will soon be starting their Art Guitars project in art and we are looking for as many used science fair boards as we can get. If you have one laying around or just some large cardboard boxes, I'll be happy to take them off your hands!
